Customer service has now helped me resolve the issue, and I appreciate their assistance. However, I did have to upgrade my subscription in order to send out a campaign to 5,000 customers.

The best part about this app is that you can display Google Seller Reviews from your company reviews, which is a great feature. The team is also very helpful through live chat and can assist with importing reviews from another platform, which made the migration process much easier.

However, there are still quite a few downsides.

The app can be very clunky with Shopify, and not all of the widgets work properly with every theme. In my case, I've had to have the support team carry out installations in certain areas, which is frustrating because it takes time going back and forth through live chat and directing different people to what needs to be done.

Another major limitation is that review reminders are not available on the Start-Up plan. You have to move to a higher-priced plan to access this feature. This seems like an important feature for many stores, as customers don't always leave a review after their first purchase and reminders can make a significant difference to the number of reviews you collect.

I also don't think the pricing is transparent enough on the Shopify App Store listing. I'm currently paying around $63 per month for the Start-Up plan, which works out to approximately $758 per year. The Start-Up plan isn't clearly displayed on the Shopify listing, and you have to contact the team through live chat to switch to it, after which you're billed separately. I think the pricing and available plans should be much clearer from the beginning.

Overall, the app has some excellent features (more sought after ones you need to upgrade and pay more) and the customer service team has been helpful, particularly with importing reviews and resolving issues. However, there are still significant areas where the app could improve, especially around Shopify integration, theme compatibility, pricing transparency.

I hope the developers continue improving these areas because the core product has a lot of potential.

I have been using reviews.io for 2 years now and I am very happy with their support and service. The platform really helps manage reviews and build customer confidence and their approach to ensuing data integrity is met is much appreciated, especially in today's day and age of AI.
I also have to say that the customer service has been amazing and fast and very professional and integration was also very easy.
Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, without any prior comms from ReviewsIO, they "improved" their plans, increasing our monthly fee from €99 to €150 per month. Haven't received any comms from their team upfront or afterwards, only a popup when logging in "congrats you've got some new features" without any price mentioning.

Also, the rates on this Shopify reviews page, are NOT the current prices anymore. They are much higher.

Intransparency sucks..
